Road of Trials: Transform Yourself During Hard Times | (republish)
The Road of Trials (Hero’s Journey) is a stage of life where the hero (you) are forced to engage in conflicts to gain power.
In the movies, it’s the training montage between “All is lost” and “Apotheosis” (god mode).
In real life, it signifies how you transform yourself during hard times.
Road of Trials: Transform Yourself During Hard Times speaks about needing hard times in life, what to do when reinventing yourself, suffering in a direction, and why you must engage in conflicts.
This is a republish from 2021.

What does it mean to be the “Rock” in a relationship | 189
What does it mean to “be the rock” in a relationship? Having a man you can depend on is something every woman wants. But what does that actually mean in practice?
It’s a mistake if you think relationships are symmetrical. This episode starts with changing your perspective on relationship, why you shouldn’t depend on your woman, how to stay grounded in a relationship, and what it means to be the rock in a relationship, really.

NPR recently wrote a piece criticizing p*rn abstinence as somehow misogynistic. I break down the positives and negatives of NoFap, and also how this piece of propaganda is a cultural attack on the male agency.

Dark night of the soul
Great job on the dark night of the soul episode, especially the material about practicality and honorable integrity. I’m a Carmelite friar (j of c was a Carmelite friar) thinking about leaving my community (very impracticable!) because something is not aligned with my conscious. Alignment with the unconscious, that is an interesting way to understand the dark night experience. Good comprehension!
A podcast for helping out of mental anguish.
The Ruwando podcast explores territories few podcasts I am aware of do. No nonsense honest approach to explaining mythology and sub conscious amongst other subjects. Keep up the great work!
Digs Deep
This podcast expands my mind, my thinking, my understanding. The subjects are specific and Ruwan likes to go deep in to them. Personally, I love exploring how our minds work with “living”, this being alive stuff, both individually, so that I can better understand myself, and interpersonally, so I can see more clearly what drives our collective behavior. Ruwan is a not so old wiseman with a fearless curiosity to explore.
